As a citizen of planet Earth and a free human being, I urge you to immediately exercise your powers to enforce measures that will prevent the impending collapse of our civilization. Geopolitical paranoia among superpowers has reached a point in 2026 where the very survival of the biosphere is threatened.
I request that you initiate a Security Council resolution to establish:
The Office of the Supreme Commander of Planetary Defense (OSCPD): With a mandate to coordinate the defense of the biosphere against cosmic threats (interstellar objects) and algorithmic risks (uncontrolled AI).
The Planetary Oversight Council (Demarchic Oversight Body): To prevent abuse of power by any superpower or individual, the OSCPD must be under the direct control of a council of randomly selected world citizens (demarchy). This mechanism ensures that:
